WHY EATING DISORDERS

Eating disorders have the highest mortality rate of any mental illness. They are not a phase, lifestyle choice, or vanity issue. They are a life-or-death illness that remains catastrophically underfunded.

Eating disorders receive only 1% of all UK mental health research funding. There is generally a profound philanthropic gap in mental health: unlike many other conditions, where public donations drive the majority of research, public donations account for only about 4% of UK mental health research funding.

We donate 20% of every sale (excluding VAT), before the deduction of any other costs and expenses,  directly to eating disorder recovery organisations and research. Every month.
